What this costs, before you ask
Most desks doing this work will not put a number anywhere you can see it, which means the first thing they learn about you is what you can afford. These are the floors a matter starts from. They are not quotes, and nothing is charged until a scope is written and you have agreed to it.
Refusing to guarantee an outcome and refusing to indicate a cost are two different decisions. Only the first one is principled.

Written diagnosis
$300
- The policy trigger named, the route identified or ruled out, and what it would take. Credited in full against an engagement if you proceed.
Remediation matters
from $2,500
- Access restoration, ad account reinstatement, restriction resolution and handle claims. Fixed fee per matter.
Authority retainer
from $3,500/mo
- Press and editorial, entity and search presence, reputation work. Three month minimum, no auto-renewal.
Knowledge panel and entity
from $2,500
- Entity audit, structured data, corroboration and claim assistance. Google decides whether a panel appears.
Fixed fees against a written scope, quoted before any chargeable work starts. Third party costs such as publisher placement fees are itemised separately from ours. These are the floors a matter starts from, not a quote.

Who carries it
This is the part of the engagement terms worth reading before any of the others.
Where a written scope defines a specific outcome and that outcome is not achieved, our fee for that scope is not payable, and where it has been paid in advance it is refunded. Third party costs already paid out on your instruction cannot be recovered and are not refundable. This is not a guarantee that any outcome will be achieved. It is a statement of who carries the fee risk when it is not, and the answer is that we do.

Four things, and none of them is how worried you sound
How far it has goneA restriction caught in the first week is a different matter to one that has been through two failed appeals and a rejected review. Earlier is cheaper, always.
Whether a route exists at allSome matters have a published route we can work and some do not. We tell you which at triage, at no charge, and we decline the ones that do not rather than charging you to find out slowly.
How much of it is ours to doWhere you can be added as an authorised user and the record is intact, the work is contained. Where the account history has to be rebuilt from what you can still reach, it is not.
Whether anything has to be boughtPublisher placement fees, filing fees and specialist fees are third party costs. They are quoted to you as third party costs and they are never marked up.
Not billable
What never appears on an invoice
- Triage. Describing the matter and being told whether a route exists costs nothing, including for the matters we decline.
- Scope you did not agree to. If a matter grows past its written scope, work stops and you get a fresh quote before anything else is done.
- Hours. There is no hourly billing, so there is no incentive anywhere in this business for a matter to take longer than it needs to.
- A markup on third party costs. What a publisher or a filing charges is what appears on the invoice.
