Artificial Intelligence Use Notice

Every consultancy in this category now uses these tools and almost none of them say so. Silence is the wrong answer, because a client is entitled to know whether the document filed in their name was written by a person, and whether their file was typed into somebody else's model.

Where we use them

• Research and summarising public material, such as a platform's published policy, its help centre and its change history.
• Drafting and editing our own general content, including pages on this site, checklists and internal templates.
• Structuring and proofreading a document a person has already decided the substance of.
• Routine engineering work on this website.

Where we do not

• No decision about your matter is made by a model. Whether a route exists, which route to use, and what a submission should say are decided by a person who has read the file.
• No submission, appeal or statement of fact is filed on the strength of model output alone. A person verifies every factual claim in it against the source, because a fabricated citation in an appeal is worse than no appeal.
• No assessment of whether we can help you, and no fee, is set by an automated system.
• We do not generate fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake engagement, synthetic personas or artificial press coverage. This is the use these tools are most commonly put to in this category, and it is precisely the conduct that gets accounts restricted in the first place.

What never goes into one

• Your enquiry, your case file, your correspondence and your documents are not entered into a public or consumer artificial intelligence service.
• Account credentials, recovery codes and identity documents are never entered into one under any circumstances.
• Nothing you send us is used to train, fine tune or evaluate any model, ours or anyone else's, and we do not permit a provider to do so with our data.
• Where a tool is used on any material connected to a matter, it is one operating under business terms that exclude training on input and retain nothing beyond the immediate request, and it is covered by our Sub-processors page.

Tell the desk before work begins and we will handle your matter without these tools at any stage. It costs a little more time and it changes nothing about the outcome. You do not have to give a reason.
