Copyright and Takedown

We respect intellectual property rights and we expect the same. If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright or trade mark you own or control, tell us and we will act on it.

What a notice must contain

• Your name, your role, and how you can be contacted.
• Identification of the work or mark you say has been infringed, with a link or a copy.
• The exact URL on this site where the material appears.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your signature, electronic or physical.

Send it to the desk by email at sales@goldlabelmedia.net and mark it "Copyright notice". We will acknowledge it and, where the notice is valid on its face, remove or disable the material while we look at it.

Designated agent

Notices should be addressed to the desk at sales@goldlabelmedia.net, marked "Copyright notice", and are acted on as described here. We have not yet registered a designated agent with the United States Copyright Office, and we would rather say so than let this page imply a statutory safe harbour we do not currently hold. Registration is in hand; nothing about how we handle a valid notice depends on it.

Counter notice

If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send us a counter notice with the same identifying detail, a statement under penalty of perjury that you hold that good faith belief, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We will pass it to the original complainant and act in accordance with the applicable law.

Knowingly sending a false infringement notice carries liability in most jurisdictions, including for the costs and damages of the person whose material was wrongly removed. Do not use this route to remove criticism.
